It was dog friendly and very inviting to sit outside in the gardens, as the weather was glorious. The lounge looked out onto the gardens too would have been pleasant to sit there too if the weather hadn't been that great. Staff very friendky and attentive. Although we didn't use the spa as we had the dog, it was nice to know it was available free to us on 1st and last day of trip. The food was good too. We booked bed and breakfast and it was excellent value for the money. The bonus was air conditioning in the room as we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year.

Well presented light and airy main building containing Reception, bar and restaurant. Our Bedroom en-suite was situated in one of the Barns which was tastefully decorated, modern and clean. Bedroom facilities included variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate with biscuits. Safe. Help yourself Continental breakfast and a good cooked breakfast menu to order. The rural location had cycle path 51 conveniently located at the bottom of the driveway taking cyclists off road directly into Cambridge city centre.

The whole experience was absolutely lovely! This is a dog friendly hotel, we did not have a dog with us but to see so many furry friends on our stay was lovely. It was a quiet setting being so close to the A14. The food was amazing, I had a steak and it was the best steak I had ever had. The staff were so friendly and also the other people staying there, we sat in the bar area with other couples for hours. It was such a lovely experience, we will definitely be returning.

Although we chose not to eat at the hotel, the staff were friendly, the spa was nice enough to use and overall the price for what we paid was very good value. Our tea and coffee were stocked up and toiletries without having to ask and I think peoples expectations of the rooms are too high as they have everything you need and were clean.

Breakfast was plentiful and cooked well and staff were friendly and welcoming of our two dogs. We had a busy schedule in Cambridge but it was a real treat to be able to get up in the morning and pop to the gym before breakfast. There was a large field next to the car park where we could safely walk the dogs. The bed was particularly comfortable and we appreciated the overhead fan in the room.
